In this article, we want to show our pride in being a Ukrainian with all the pluses and minuses. Usually, for this day there was a big parade in the center of Kyiv on Khreshchatyk Street. Nowadays there are no such celebrations because of the war but this day has become even more important.
Freedom! This is what Ukrainians are fighting for now. The war is to keep our lands and save this day, the day when our country became free. So in 20, 50, 100 years, and more we and our descendants can celebrate this day.
Today this day is the day to give glory to our heroes, to all the soldiers, volunteers, and all people who do the best they can to help Ukraine fight this. We want to show our respect, gratitude, and condolences to all mothers, wives, children, and families who lost their sons, fathers, brothers, and husbands in this war. We pray for their souls to rest in peace. The war took many people already but we should stay strong and confident in our victory.
We also want to thank all countries and people who support Ukraine and donate to help our army.
