The question about age appears all the time from both sides. Women think that only old men from abroad may be interested in them and men think that since they are foreigners they can have a woman who is 20 years younger or even more from Ukraine.
This article is not a statement and we don’t try to say that there are no chances to have a partner with a big age difference. We just let you know about our experience and the problem that many members of the service faced.
Yes, the age difference is possible but it doesn’t mean that each man can meet a woman twice younger than himself. To be honest, having a partner who is much younger than you may not bring you happiness since the big gap in age is going to bring many misunderstandings and different visions in life. Psychologists say that the normal age difference between a man and a woman should be 5 years or more. Women develop faster psychologically and if the woman has a man of her age then she may feel herself as a mother, not as a partner.
Why do women prefer older men?
Yes, that’s the truth that women look for men older but not 20 years older. Usually, women are open to the difference in age between 5-12 years. Women used to say that if the man was older than her then he was already stable, independent, fed up with going out and short-term relationships, and ready to build something serious and long-term relationships and ready to take responsibility for a woman and even her children if she has some from the previous marriage.
Why do men prefer older women?
Many foreigners have the old vision of Ukraine. Before Ukraine was a poor country with a low level of living and often girls were ready to marry just to have a better life and move abroad that’s why they were open to the age gap. Nowadays the situation is totally different. Because of the war, almost any country is open for Ukrainian ladies to move. Ladies became more independent and invest a lot in their education, beauty, and career.
Men used to say that if the woman is older then she is no longer active and is not interested in having fun and enjoying different things. It’s also a wrong thought because women are the same active as men.
Of course, younger women look more attractive to men but if you run after a much younger woman, you need to accept and realize all the results that it will bring after. Younger women are more demanding, more emotional, and more active.
